Rental conditions
The Maséliades estate is a 3.5 hectare estate located on the southern heights of Sarlat, in a dead end. The site is exceptional, in the heart of the Périgord Noir, 10 minutes walk from the medieval center of Sarlat, combining the calm of the Périgord countryside and proximity to the town. You can easily access the many tourist sites of Périgord Noir within a 25km radius.
Six magnificent air-conditioned Périgourdine houses, of approximately 200m2 of living space, each with a swimming pool, combine tradition and comfort. Spacious, they can accommodate up to eight people in harmonious cohabitation.
Reservation
Your reservation becomes firm and final with:
- Payment of a deposit of 30% of the total amount of your rental by credit card;
- Signing your contract from the maseliades-sarlat.fr website or sending by post a copy of the rental contract signed by you, and returned to the owner within 10 days of your request;
- Payment of the remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay. The customer who has not paid the balance on the agreed date is considered to have canceled his stay.
In the event of a late reservation (less than 30 days before the start of the stay), full payment for the stay will be requested upon reservation.
Length of stay
Stays are from Saturday to Saturday
Reception on the first day between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Please call us at the end of your trip about your probable arrival time. Departure: before 10:00 a.m. on the last day.
Accommodation capacity
Accommodation is provided with all comfort for a maximum of:

We do not accept animals in the Maséliades domain.
Cancellation
Cancellation by our hosts:
If you cancel more than 30 days before the start of your stay, the deposit is retained by the owner (i.e. 30% of the amount of the stay).
Cancellation between the 30th and 8th day, 50% of the amount of the stay is retained by the owner. Cancelation
less than 8 days before your stay, 100% of the amount of the stay is retained by the owner. Cancellation by the owner:
This reimburses the amounts already paid + compensation equal to the
penalty that the customer would have borne if the cancellation had occurred through his fault on that date. Interruption of stay by our hosts: no refund.
You can take out cancellation insurance from your insurer.
Security deposit
An inventory of the rented premises will be carried out by the owner and our guests at the beginning and end of the stay. Any loss or damage will give rise to compensation.
A deposit of 1,500 euros will be requested from our guests, as a security deposit upon their arrival. If the amount of loss or damage exceeds the amount of the deposit, the tenant undertakes to pay the supplement after inventory.
Cleaning the house is the responsibility of our guests during their stay and before their departure. It is also possible to take a cleaning option for €110, which can be requested when booking online on the maselaides-sarlat.fr website.
Insurance
Our guests are responsible for any damage caused by them. Please check that you benefit from so-called “resort” insurance through your personal insurance. Otherwise, we strongly recommend that you subscribe to one.
The owner is insured for his liability with Assurances MAAF, 18 Avenue Thiers 24200 Sarlat.
Claim
Any complaint concerning the house, the inventory or the descriptive condition cannot be submitted to the owner beyond the 3rd day of occupancy. The rental contract signed by the tenant and the owner is subject to French laws governing the general conditions for booking a rental house: articles 95 to 103 of Decree No. 94-490 of June 15, 1994.
